Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
As a women and BIPOC-owned company in the tech space, we know first-hand the importance of including a diversity of voices and experiences in building and advising on the strategic use of technology, even more so when that technology is meant to help amplify those working toward social justice and impact. In that, we strive to not only hire according to these values, but to uphold values, practices and ways of working that make technology itself more accessible to all, and that disrupt traditional consulting models that are deficiency-based rather than strengths-based and co-creative. We strive to work in a way that allows us to iterate and continually evaluate whether we are meeting clients where they are and evaluate the impacts of our work.
The Sertus “WAY” is:
Client-First Focus
- We put our clients’ needs at the heart of every decision and action
- We dig deep to understand each organization’s unique mission, team dynamics, and processes
- We measure our success by the meaningful impact we create for our clients

- We stay engaged until we find the right path forward, no matter how complex the problem

- We have honest conversations about costs, challenges, and deliverables
- Our multilingual team serves clients across language barriers
